Now you know, what next?computer8

We know...

Kilobits per second and kilobytes per seconds
ISP likes to advertise with Kilobits, because of big numbers and we don't use so much of kilobits, it throw as off.
Let's say we saw an advertisement that says 5130 Kilobits for speed.

It is actually 641.25 Kilobytes in speed.
See the difference 5130 Kilobits
..............................651 Kilobytes

Avoid dial up AOL or Wallmart connection because you are paying way too much.

When you download file from web page you see message like
6.9 of 126.8MB at 471KB/Sec; 04:20 remain
That Blue portion is Kilobits per second.

5130 Kilobits = (641.25 Kilobytes * 8bits)

They use big numbers to advertise.
So check your connection speed and you have same speed as their advertisement..
