Final Project

Spring 2009 – Wednesdays 6:45 – 10:00 p.m. (3728)
The purpose of this final project is for you to demonstrate your understanding of Dreamweaver. It should also reflect your ability to use Dreamweaver to display content in an interactive environment.
Most web sites are developed to provide information, gather information or entertain. The site you create in your final project should either provide information or entertain. The topic or theme is of your choosing. You might consider teaching someone about where you live. If you have knowledge in a special area, share that with others. Choose a topic that is of interest to you.
Key Dates:        May 13             Final Project Progress Review
June 3              Final Project Due
There will be no maximum size requirements for your project, but there is a length requirement of at least 15 pages that you have authored yourself.
Your grade on this final project will be as follows (200 total points):

Dreamweaver Elements: A passing project must contain at a minimum the items below. You certainly can add more than the minimum numbers listed. These will be the basis for determining your understanding of Dreamweaver.

Content: A passing project must contain at a minimum the items below.

You will upload your final project to your web site. A link to your final project should be emailed to me when completed as well as a written explanation of how you have incorporated the required elements into your web site.  The length of the explanation is up to you.  Some students may keep a journal of progress that they refer to when creating the explanation.<---- Is this mean Blog?
